Disclosure of High-Risk and Prohibited Business Activities
As part of the onboarding and ongoing monitoring process, all customers are required to fully disclose any high-risk business activities conducted directly or indirectly through the 1Money platform. This disclosure enables 1Money to perform appropriate risk assessments, enhanced due diligence, and regulatory compliance checks in line with applicable AML/CFT, sanctions, and prudential requirements.
Failure to disclose high-risk activities may result in onboarding rejection, account suspension, or termination.
High-Risk Business Activities
(Permitted only with disclosure, risk assessment, and enhanced controls)
The following industries and activities are considered high risk due and engagement in these activities does not automatically disqualify a customer, but will require enhanced monitoring. The following are examples of business activities considered high risk and must be disclosed during onboarding. This list is not exhaustive.
- Providing money services, payment processing, or funds transmission (including MSBs, PSPs, P2P platforms, prepaid or gift cards, and ATMs)
- Operating lending, foreign exchange, virtual asset brokerage, exchanges , or OTC trading services Issuing, holding, safeguarding, or managing client funds, digital assets, stablecoins, or wallets (including custody or escrow)
- Operating decentralized finance (DeFi), DAOs, foundations, gaming, metaverse, or virtual asset ecosystems
- Trading, brokering, or dealing in high-value or trade-exposed goods (including precious metals or stones, jewelry, oil and gas, mining, agriculture, construction, and real estate)
Prohibited Business Activities

1Money does not provide services to customers engaged in the following activities, whether directly or indirectly, regardless of licensing claims or jurisdiction.
- Fraud, scams, or deceptive practices
- Unlawful or abusive conduct
- Intellectual property infringement
- Counterfeit or unauthorized goods
- Unlicensed gambling and betting businesses
- Unlicensed casinos or betting marketplaces
- Adult entertainment and adult content services
- Arms and weapons industry
- Cannabis (marijuana) businesses and related services
- Tobacco products and tobacco-related businesses
- Shell financial institutions
- Entities supporting shell banks or unlicensed banks
- Unlicensed money service businesses
- Anonymous or fictitious accounts
- Bearer share companies
