Individual — POA Requirements

Accepted Document Types

(Usually issued within the last 3 months unless stated otherwise)

• Utility bills (electricity, water, gas, internet, landline phone — no mobile bills in some jurisdictions)
• Bank / Credit card statements
• Government-issued correspondence (tax letters, social benefits, court documents)
• Residence registration / certificate of domicile
• Lease / Tenancy agreement (signed and currently valid)
• Local authority bill (municipal or property tax)
• Insurance policy with address (home/health/vehicle — insurer-issued)
• Driver’s license or National ID card (if includes full residential address and is current)

Requirements & Format Rules

Must show:

• Full legal name matching the onboarding profile
• Residential address (no PO boxes unless jurisdictionally permitted)
• Document date
• Issuer name/logo
• Clear color scan/photo or PDF, JPEG, size limit: 3MB
• Entire document must be visible (no cropping / partial images)
• No screenshots unless platform explicitly allows

Business — POA Requirements

Accepted Documents (Proof of Operating / Registered Address)

• Certificate of Incorporation with registered address
• Business license showing address
• Recent utility bill (business premises)
• Bank statement in the business name
• Lease agreement for business premises
• Tax authority letter or VAT certificate with address
• Company registry extract (dated within last 3 or 6 months)
• Commercial property insurance document

Requirements & Rules

Must show:

• Legal entity name
• Full registered business address
• Date issued (within last 3 or 6 months depending on jurisdiction)
• Official issuer

Must be a corporate-issued document

If using a registered agent address:

• Additional evidence may be required (e.g., mail-forwarding agreement, agent confirmation)

If multiple locations exist:

• Registered office address is prioritized for compliance
