Onboarding Overview

1Money provides two types of onboarding options depending on your intended use case:

• Company or Individual Customers – Use 1Money account for your own business or personal financial activities.
• Platform Customers – Use 1Money account to facilitate transactions or financial activities for your end customers.

Whether you will be using 1Money account for own purpose or create customer account on behalf, all customers begin by registering for a 1Money account at https://1money.com/app/signup .

Agency Model for Platforms

For platform customers, 1Money offers an Agency Model that allows your platform to onboard and manage your end customers directly under your 1Money account while maintaining full compliance oversight.

Before using this model, you must first obtain approval from our Compliance team. Please contact [email protected] to initiate the review process.

Once your request is approved, you will gain access to the create customer API endpoint, which enables you to programmatically create and manage customer accounts on behalf of your users — including bulk onboarding if required.

Currently, 1Money only provides API endpoints for creating customers under the agency model for platform customers.
