Deactivate an additional virtual account when the customer wants to stop receiving payments through it for now. You can activate it again later.
Send the request without a body. On success, HTTP 200 returns status: DEACTIVE and an empty networks array. Deactivating an already deactivated account also succeeds.
Before deactivating: Remove the bank details from your payment screen and ask payers to stop sending funds. The bank may still receive transfers sent to those details. Payments received while the account is unavailable can require manual review instead of being credited automatically.
Default accounts and pending creations cannot be deactivated. An unsupported account state returns 409.
A change to DEACTIVE sends a virtual_account.deactive webhook. Fees already incurred still apply.
