v1.0.43

You can now create additional USD receiving accounts through the Virtual Accounts API. A business could use one account for subscriptions and another for wholesale orders, each with its own bank details. Payments into either account are credited to the same customer's 1Money balance. Creation is available to eligible customers who have completed identity verification.

Give each additional account a nickname that makes sense in your application. You can rename it, deactivate and reactivate it, or delete it when it is no longer needed. The API also lets you retrieve an account by ID and search your accounts using filters and pagination.

There are two new ways to follow account activity:

  • Virtual Account Webhooks notify you when an additional account becomes active, fails, is deactivated, or is deleted. Continue using deposit webhooks to confirm that a payment has been credited.
  • Transaction responses now include receiving_virtual_account when we can identify which account received a deposit. It contains the account's ID, nickname, and external reference. When that association is unavailable, the field is null.

If you use List Fiat Deposit Accounts: that endpoint is now deprecated. It remains available while you migrate to Virtual Accounts. Start by listing the accounts your customer already has; you do not need to create replacements just to switch APIs. The migration guide covers the new capabilities and the changes to your integration.
